The Sharpe Appreciation Society is the official fan club of the award winning TV series and I have been a member since 1999.

Also since 2004 my Wife Julie and I are very much involved in helping the Sharp ‘Roadshow’ appearing around the Country

where I can be seen selling my ‘Sharpe’ related prints and originals. Below are pieces of artwork produced in relation to the

After Talavera

This painting was commissioned by Chris Clarke, the SAS secretary.

The original was first shown to members of the SAS at the 10^th Anniversary

bash in London and is now available as a limited edition Print of only 500.

Chris requested a picture that displayed all the Sharpe related weaponry and

equipment that the SAS owned and I decided to add the view of the chosen

men firing their rifles over the grave of Major Lennox, from Sharpe’s Eagle.

The Original Painting is 140cm x102cm (55” x 40”). The print image size is

60cm x 44cm (approx 24” x 17.5”)

A ‘Jumbo Size’ version of this print is also

available - 102cm x 72cm (40” x 28.5”).

This is in the form of a ‘Giclee’ print which is

reflected in the price –

The ‘Bean’ Picture

This was the first of the Sharpe related pictures I produced and

with the kind permission of Mr. Bernard Cornwell and with the

co-operation and support of Christine Clarke (Sec to the SAS)

this print was produced as a Limited Edition of 1000. The image

size is approximately 27” x 18” and on a fine quality paper.

Most of the characters chosen were in at least two episodes and

include the “chosen men” and all Sharpe’s women (plus Bernard Cornwell!).

I began the painting as a treat for myself (in between paying work!)

but after both Chris Clarke and Bernard Cornwell had seen and

approved the picture it was decided that it may appeal to all the

members of the society, and is now available generally.

The ‘Credits’ Picture

A limited number of this print is now available with

a SAS label featuring a Sharpe related image in black

and white instead of a number. Each label is different
